Photographic images are occasionally used for journalistic or artistic purposes. Whenever possible, GLP obtains (either directly or via third parties) the express permission for images of people to be used on the web. However, this is not always possible for group photographs.
Should a member of the public object to their image being contained in any such photograph they should contact the GLP Officers Team and the photograph will be removed.

Summary of Terms

Browser
Used to locate and display Web pages via a software application. The most popular ones are Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

IP Address
If you are connected to the Internet you have one, for example it may look something like this 194.73.67.30.

User Session
A user's visit to a site begins when the user first accesses any page on a given site and ends after a visitor has left that site and not revisited it within a specified amount of time (normally 20 minutes) or when the user's browser is closed.

Web Server
Delivers (serves up) web pages to your computer.
